Insurance Defense

Morning everyone!

A lot of my friends have been transitioning to insurance defense firms, and I wanted to ask what the draw might be? I imagine insurance companies aren’t paying big law money, and i know they are always checking behind their back to make sure another firm doesn’t offer their services cheaper for the insurance company.

I know there have to be some positives though. Is there good experience to be had working in ID? The heavy litigation practice would be nice for someone interested in litigation, but what else? I am always looking for ways to grow and get as much experience as possible, so i am interested in hearing what others have to say. Thanks and have a great day!
